Metallica… GODS of Metal

Jus came back from one of the best nights in Mumbai…

A band named “blind image” from Chennai had a Metallica tribute in the Aura pub in Powai Hiranandani….and believe me it rocked like Hell there…
Interesting thing was the guitarist who played alongwith the band (not a part of band) was from my hometown Nagpur…Daniel (Danny) … I have been listening to this guy from my 1st year as he was a regular participant of the Rock Show we organized in Aarohi… :D and believe me he plays awesome guitar…

The night started with some OCs by the band and then a 13 year old gal played some songs…it was all OK…but then came the time to Rock…They started with “The four horsemen” and then “Master of Puppets” (this is the one of the best best bestest song ever) \m/ and then “Creeping Death” this too fuckin rock…

In between there were some more OCs by the band and few songs by “The Lamb of God” and “Slayer”.

All time it was Whiskey, Beer, Headbang, BodyBang and moshpit…madarchod …maja aa gaya :D

It was a fuckin beautiful night :D

Reached home sometime back and now time to sleep as last night slept at 6 am, only for 5 hours…body and neck is already aching … hehehe but its all fine for You Gods…

Metallica… you rock \m/

Ganpati Bappa Moriya

Ganeshotsav … meaning the Ganpati Festival is one of the biggest festival in Maharashtra and specially in cities like Mumbai and Pune … though I haven’t ever been to pune in the 10 days of this fest but yeah I have been looking at the fabulous atmosphere (better word Maahol) in Mumbai from last 4 years…and believe me you gotta see it…in the first 2 years I also went to see the Ganesh Visarjan at Girgaum Beach in Mumbai…and this is the most important day of the festival…the Visarjan (immersion) … most of the offices have holidays since they are aware roads gonna be packed :D but we generally have half day :( … but whatever the important thing is to be at one the beaches or lakes where the Ganesh Visarjan takes place… and its real fun to be at beaches than being on lakes…

There are these humongous Ganesh idols from all over the Mumbai at the beaches and then THE SEA OF PEOPLE…yeah I mean it if you are lost .. you are lost…its really difficult to find your buddies back…but then that’s what forms the entire ambience…the chanting of the mantras and the hailing of Lord Ganpati “Ganpati Bappa Moriya…Pudhchya Warshi Lavkar Ya” and the people all engrossed in the arrangement that nobody gets hurt while the Big Idols are immersed in the Sea…its all so much good to watch…

I really feel that this festival meets the purpose for which it had been started by Hon. Lokmanya Tilak way back in 1893…to make people come at a common place and celebrate and get together for a common purpose forgetting all their worries and sharing all the happiness and forming a bond :)

I still remember the days in my hometown Nagpur…the Ganpati Installation at one of my friend Ashish’s place and also in Colony, just infront of our building…the music…the games arranged…Sandal (band) on the last day…I remember how Anya and Me were curious enough in my school days and while coming back from Arpit’s place in Itwari we used to see the Ganpati Installation at the various places :D

** few of you may get surprised to see this post…as I am an atheist but then my feelings has to do nothing with the belief in God but the emotions of people.

Addicted to Mafia Wars :)

And before I sleep, a confession, I have really got addicted to Mafia Wars on Facebook…I just do nothing these days when at home, just be online and play MW…spend all my energy and stamina (these are MW jargons) and then wait for the same to refill…the game is really addictive, I know most of you will agree :)

The game is about forming a mafia with you friends on facebook and then just playing a virtual Mafia War…doing illegal jobs…attacking other Dons...robbing them…declaring war within your own mafia…buying properties and some businesses and much much more :D also you have your mafia at two places New York and Cuba…its all very interesting at least till now and I am sure its gonna be the same atleast till you become the top mafia which is really a fars cry for me…I am on level 182 right now and top mafia people are above level 4000 … hehe…

Searching for a new place

This is one of the things that is taking much of my time on weekends and still no positive output as of yet…from almost a month I guess we are doing this…searching for the new place since our contract here in current place is almost over and we need to get the new home asap…the sad part is here WE is just me and Suyog :(

We have searched few good places in last couple of weeks but now the problem is we don’t have enough people to share the flat with us and the main reason being that one of the earlier roommates has ditched really bad…or may be its not his fault as he was too desperate to shift to a place near to his office but I still cant understand that how can someone shift from a place where you have been living with people you have known for last 7 years to a new place where you know no one…or may be it was for the good of everybody, anyways the other roommate is shifting to another place by the end of this month so after that if we don’t get a good place with enough people to share the same then we both will have to contribute extra cut for the current place for next month…

We are still in need of a good place within our budget and atleast one more person to share it, so lets see what happens…will keep you all updated.

No consistency

Its been more than a month that I have written anything here…the space I consider mine, my say…nothing like I don’t have anything to write…I always thought there should have been a device to record everything you think, in a text format, had it been invented it would have been so easy to daily update blogs :D … excuses…lol

Anyways there have been many things I would have written but the simple reason is no consistency…and this has been the reason for many other things in my life…yeah you can call them failures too…I remember even Anya had stopped in between for a time being and didn’t write much on his blog and may be this was my patch…hope that I write regularly now…I really miss my blog…

No MBA this year :-(

Just now on DTE website they have put up the list of the colleges with the seats distribution structure and this year there is no seat for NT1 in any of the 2 colleges I was aiming for...neither JB nor Sydneham, on rotation basis the seats have gone to NT2 candidates this year…so finally the result is out before it was supposed to be and I am not gonna get into MBA this year…so that’s it.

Ya a bit depressed…may be quite depressed but there is no use or say no option…but it’s fine…life never stops and you have to go ahead with all the failures either carrying them as burden or just forgetting them and making a new start…and that’s what I am gonna do…forgetting everything and moving ahead :-)

So friends don’t worry I am cool…means I will be soon.

Frustration of office life

Today I have dropped a mail to my PM requesting him to discuss my future prospects in my project…actually I am not getting much work of my technology and then whatever I am getting is too less to consume my abilities…also after completing more than 3 years in an organization now I have started getting a big desperation for going onsite too…

One way out of this fucked up situation is the CET final seat allotment process which is actually being delayed a lot by the government. If I get lucky there its gonna be wonderful :D

Actually I was holding…infact I am holding this frustration from quite a long time inside me which has kinda made me a pessimist…which I hate to be…so finally today I have asked my PM to discuss my future plans with me…but he has delayed the meeting to Monday…so lets see what happens…

** actually the story is very long and its no use writing all of it here…the main issue is I am really frustrated regarding my career and I am not consumed.
